Driveway sealcoating reduces wear, beautifies and protects your investment. An unprotected driveway or parking lot suffers deterioration from gas, oil and salt. Even the sun oxidizes and breaks it down. In cold months, further damage is caused when freezing and thawing of water in pavement cracks causes the surface to break and crumble. Driveway Sealcoating effectively prevents this naturally occurring deterioration while beautifying your pavement and saving you money with greatly reduced maintenance costs. Sealcoating your driveway not only protects the driveway, a properly sealed driveway updates the “curb appeal” of your home or business.
In the process of driveway sealcoating, we start with thoroughly cleaning all dirt and debris. We will then start to apply sealer to the asphalt driveway. All asphalt edges will be cut in by hand using brooms and squeegees. Once the cut in is far enough away from the home, the remaining asphalt will be sealed using wider brooms making multiple passes in each area until the asphalt absorbs sealant into the pores and fully seals the asphalt. After sealcoating is complete, the driveway will be taped off so it can dry for 24 hours.
